Red Cross’ Christmas baton has reached MASCOT. Managing director Michael Grosbøl was challenged to receive this year’s Christmas baton from Niels Aage Kjær, CEO at AVK Holding. A challenge Michael Grosbøl immediately acknowledged.

With a wish that we all come together to make the world better, Red Cross has started a Christmas baton for Danish corporate leaders. »It’s an opportunity to make customers and employees proud and to make a difference for vulnerable people in Denmark and the rest of the world,« Red Cross writes about their Christmas baton. Each corporate leader makes a donation to Red Cross’ work for vulnerable people all over the world.

As a global textile company, MASCOT has a great responsibility to safeguard people and the environment through the supply chain. The responsibility lies both in Denmark and in the countries where MASCOT produces its clothing and has suppliers. This is a responsibility that MASCOT takes very seriously. It was therefore natural for Michael Grosbøl to say yes to receiving this year’s Christmas baton. »The Red Cross’ Christmas baton makes sense. And companies like us have a responsibility to contribute globally. As a company, we have a commitment to the globe, the climate and people«.

As the name implies, it is a baton where it is about getting corporate leaders to support a good cause. Michael Grosbøl therefore sends the baton to Flemming Bendt, CEO at ISS Denmark, together with the wish for a very Merry Christmas.
