As of the 1st January, Falck Denmark and MASCOT have entered into an agreement to supply a workwear solution.
“It is a very important agreement, which has been made”, states MASCOT’s Nordic Sales Director, Henrik Bach. “We are not only dressing 9,000 Falck employees in Denmark but also employees and sub contractors in Norway and Sweden. Furthermore, Falck is a global company with great wishes for expansion, so who knows where it might lead”, says Henrik Bach. Falck also handles Ambulance Transport and Rescue Service in for instance Belgium, Slovakia, Poland, Brazil and USA.
A lot of demands for the supplier
There are many reasons as to why Falck made the final decision of choosing MASCOT as their workwear supplier. The Group Procurement Director at Falck, Morten B. Jacobsen states “Not only does MASCOT have the right product range and a solution oriented attitude. MASCOT has shown itself as a complete supplier, who can solve many of our everyday problems”.
MASCOT also takes over the administration
“With MASCOT we in general achieve a substantial boost in the quality of fabric, durability and design. MASCOT also handles part of the administration of the workwear for us. Partly through the web ordering solution - MASCOT® SmartStore, and partly through the company’s effective logistics which enables MASCOT to efficiently pack the workwear in individual boxes for each employee”, says Morten B. Jacobsen.
Importance of a global supplier
Except from the white-collar workers, MASCOT will dress all of Falck’s Danish employees – both in Rescue, Assistance, Healthcare and Technical jobs. “We found optimal solutions for all employees within MASCOT’s standard range. MASCOT only has to customise a small selection of products for us”, clarifies Morten B. Jacobsen, who also explains that the size of MASCOT has been important for the cooperation: “MASCOT is a competitive and global supplier that can follow our growth across country borders and business areas. Our total assessment is that MASCOT is an attractive, long term workwear supplier for the Falck Group, contributing to our employees’ satisfaction, our profile and brand”.

The cooperation with Falck is of great importance to MASCOT in several aspects. Besides giving big orders, which may lead to more, the cooperation with Falck is also valuable in other aspects.
