When Monza Eni Circuit begins the 2019 season in March, the world-renowned race track gets a highly visible new touch. Monza Eni Circuit has partnered with the large European workwear supplier MASCOT, who in the next three seasons will supply the employees at Monza Eni Circuit with workwear.
Motorsport has become a major business area for MASCOT, which is otherwise known for developing and producing high-quality workwear for professionals in professions from trades and construction to production and industry.
The clothing company has its headquarters in Denmark, but with own sales and service organisations across Europe including Italy, where the motorsports area is now strengthened with the agreement with Monza Eni Circuit.
The organisation behind the historic race track, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, has deliberately searched for a workwear partner with a strong commitment to and a thorough understanding of the world of motorsport. General Manager at Monza, Pietro Benvenuti explains: »The Monza Circuit has always maintained a high reputation in the world of motorsport due not only to its almost one-hundred-year history, but also to the commitment of the people who work here.«
»The employees are the first point of contact for the customers and the public. It is therefore imperative that they are able to effectively communicate all the values of our historic company, starting from its prestigious image«, Pietro Benvenuti comments and continues: »We turned to MASCOT to achieve this goal, and asked them to select a suitable clothing line for our employees, who are always on the move. MASCOT is becoming a point of reference in the world of motorsport and they share the continuous search for excellence in its field with us. With MASCOT, we immediately found a partner that produces a versatile and high quality selection of technical garments, suitable for all the professions that the circuit has from employees on the track to employees in offices.«
At MASCOT, they are excited to have built such a strong brand in the world of motorsport that they can attract such well-reputed and quality-conscious partners as Monza Eni Circuit. MASCOT’s managing director, Michael Grosbøl, elaborates: »We are honoured to be selected as official clothing supplier of Monza Eni Circuit, which for almost 100 years has put the circuit at disposal for the world’s most skilled racing drivers and most technically advanced cars. With Autodromo Nazionale Monza, we have a partner with strong traditions and a focus on high quality. It’s always a pleasure to work with professional companies, who, like us, have high quality demands for both the clothing and the collaboration solutions. We are looking forward to meeting the high demands and contributing to Monza’s renewed visual identity through a strong clothing profile in the coming seasons«, says Michael Grosbøl.
Monza Eni Circuit has selected products primarily from MASCOT’s assortment of stretch workwear for the motorsport circuit’s many employees, who have functions such as event coordinating, service and office personnel. Every year, more than 1.8 million visitors visit Monza Eni Circuit for events and motorsport events, and the many visitors will in the future be greeted by Danish designed workwear on the historic race track.
General Manager at Monza, Pietro Benvenuti, and MASCOT’s managing director, Michael Grosbøl, are looking forward to the future collaboration where high quality solutions are key.
When Monza Eni Circuit was built in 1922, it was only the world’s third purpose-built motor racing circuit. The circuit has over the years become known as The Temple of Speed, and some of the most legendary pages in the history book of motorsport have been written at Monza Eni Circuit. Every year, Monza Circuit hosts numerous types of races. Since the establishment of the legendary Formula One races in 1950, Monza has held the Italian Formula One Grand Prix every year on the 5770-meter circuit.
MASCOT is one of Europe’s largest privately-owned workwear suppliers and provides workwear to professionals in a wide range of industries. The company has gradually established itself as a well-known brand within the world of motorsport, where you will find extensive cooperation agreements with Audi Sport in FIA Formula E and DTM, a team in Dakar Rally, DTC in Denmark – and from 2019, you will also find MASCOT at Monza Eni Circuit in Italy.
Comfort and high durability are essential when MASCOT develops new workwear. The latest range with ULTIMATE STRETCH includes workwear so comfortable, you won’t want to take it off.
